It was a bright sunny day on 25th June 2012 and we assembled at the Cricketer's Arms in Chestnut Avenue, Stoneham.

We then visited the nearby War Shrine.

We then moved on to St Nicolas Church nearby where we met Wayne Irish, the churchwarden.

 
 Wayne gave us information on the church and the fine memorials to Thomas Fleming [who signed the death warrant for Guido Fawkes] and that of Admiral Hawke.
