Welcome to the City of Southampton Society Website

 

The City of Southampton Society was founded in1962. The Society is a Registered Charity (No 1006256) and a member of the Southampton Heritage Federation.

The aims of the Society are;

- To encourage high standards of planning and architecture in Southampton.

- To stimulate publlic interest in, and care for the beauty, history and character of our City.

- To encourage development and improvement of public amenities and the preservation of places of historical interest.

Unlocking Hampshire's Past - This conference, organised by the Hampshire Field Club, is being held in Winchester on 19 September 2026.  For full details click Here.
